Founded in January 2000 by Teresa Morgenstern, the business rapidly expanded to become one of the premier PR firms in Southwest Florida. Tracy Southers, APR, joined WordPlay in February 2006 as a partner and established a Dallas office in 2008. Equipped with journalism degrees and writers at heart, both share a passion for the written word and understand the importance of communicating the right message to the right audience. With combined experience of more than 25 years and extensive media contacts, they are well-prepared to execute both strategic communications programs and tactical solutions.
Encompassing a diverse portfolio, WordPlay clients include professionals in the fields of residential and commercial development and building, interior design, art, entertainment, travel, food, hospitality, technology, retail and professional services.
WordPlay services, available comprehensively or on an as-needed basis, may be retained to oversee an organization’s entire public relations and marketing efforts or supplement in-house staff. Services are available at an hourly rate or monthly retainer, based on each client’s preference.
